Amongst the other Activities, Celebration of Durga Puja festival in Matri Mandir is a landmark for the entire Bengali Community in the capital. Come Autumn, the atmosphere in Matri Mandir becomes full of festive fragrance which any Bengali family in Delhi can hardly afford to miss. Apart from this, Kali Puja, Jagaddhatri Puja, Saraswathi Puja, Annapurna Puja etc are also celebrated annually when devotees from all walks of life participate. Besides, Satya Narayan puja, Amabasya Puja and Soni Puja are also celebrated every month.

Several Cultural and Recreational events are organized under the auspices of Matri Mandir, besides arranging spiritual discourses at frequent intervals. Running Free Charitable Homeopathic, Medical and Ayurvedic clinics, rendering monetary assistance to helpless widows of Brindavan, maintaining an in-house Library with Reading Room facility, offering Special Tuition on selected subjects free of cost, running Music classes are other services of Matri Mandir Samity towards the economically weaker sections of the society.

:: Charitable Dispensary

The Matri Mandir Samity has been running a Charitable Homeopathic Dispensary in its premises for quite some time now, by an experienced doctor. (Timings: 11.30 am. - 1 pm - except Sundays and Holidays). Medicines are provided to patients free of cost. It has Blood Pressure Measuring Instrument and Weighing Machine. We have since procured a Blood Sugar Measuring Instrument.

Besides, Medical Clinic has also been functioning successfully for last couple of years by very senior and experienced Doctors. The Clinic offers Ayurvedic and Naturopathy treatments (daily from 11 a.m to 1 pm), Medical Consultancy (Tuesday and Friday from 8 - 9 pm) and also Gynecological Consultancy (Saturdays from 10 - 11 am).

Introduction of Medical clinic had been the expectation of the local people for quite some time; more and more people are taking advantage of these services.

Matri Mandir Library has become very popular in this locality. It has a collection of about 2000 books on various subjects, including Literature, Novel, Magazine etc. Its Membership is increasing day by day. It is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (7.00 to 9.00 p.m) and on Sundays (11.00 a.m to 01.00 p.m).

:: Scholarship

Matri Mandir Samity, for the last several years, has been granting Scholarship to the meritorious students of some selected schools, on the basis of their previous board examination results, as per the recommendations of concerned school Principals.

The scholarship is named as “ Sudipto Ghosh Memorial Scholarship – administered by Matri Mandir Samity”.

As usual Principals of some selected Schools are allotted Rs.17,500/- each during every academic year for disbursement of scholarships as per following scale:

		For students of class XII who had passed class XI exam., Scholarship are granted at Rs.3,500/- to the topper in Science stream, Rs. 3,000/- for Commerce stream and Rs. 2,500/- for the Humanities stream of each school.
		First 3 toppers, who had passed class X Board exam., in respective schools are granted  Rs. 2,000/- each.
		Besides, an amount of Rs. 2,500/- is also granted to the respective School Principals for disbursement amongst needy students, for purchase of books, uniform materials etc.
