The 6th Annual Drawing Competition for school going children took place at Matri Mandir, B-2 Block, Safdadcung Enclave with usual pomp and show on Sunday the 17th April 2011. Students from many both government and public schools participated. Matri Mandir Samity organizes the drawing competition around Bengali New Year every year. The standard of drawing competition this year was much improved. Despite rain participants were around 450, about 50 % more than last year. The Samity engaged eminent artists to judge the paintings. The prize distribution will be held later. However Medal, Snacks Packets, Mineral water/Cold drinks were given to each participant. Topics of painting are listed at enclosed picture no.01.
